How to Meditate - half day workshop
with Birgit Saunders

‘When the turbulence of our mental busyness subsides and our mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment naturally arise from within’ – Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

If our mind is peaceful, we can feel calm even in the most challenging situations. We feel happier and this is good for both ourselves and those around us.
Meditation can be a really effective way of helping us slow down and relax by letting go of our distractions: and when ‘the turbulence of our mental busyness subside and our mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment naturally arise from within.’

In this half-day workshop, Birgit will guide us through a series of three breathing meditations that help calm the mind, reduce stress and give rise to an experience of inner peace and well-being.
By practising these meditations over time, we can experience a sense of calmness and contentment that helps us cope with the external busyness and difficulties of daily life.
