The colourful abstract paintings in Jenny Milne’s debut exhibition explore techniques with acrylic pouring and the use of resin to enhance and bring out different figurative and landscape elements which reference the cosmic, earthly, and everything in-between.
Jenny Milne - Artist Bio:
Hi lovely People! A bit about myself. I'm a retired local, and once my children left home, I decided to dabble a bit in art.
This includes cell phone photography, including negative images, painting landscapes and now acrylic pouring, which I love. I'm also exploring the world of resin and what you can do to enhance this look.
So far I've tried different styles, eg). balloon kisses, swipes, dutch pours and open cup techniques to name a few. I love them all.
